Day 5: Grand Cayman Islands

Day 5 we arrive in the Grand Cayman Islands. Gorgeous is the word for this place!!! The photos above are of us arriving.

The shore excursion that Amber and us decided was the Pirate Ship, while Rodney, Lynn and Amy chose to go on a tour of the island. The ship did not dock, so we took a ferry to shore whre we waited for our excursion. We waited for quite some time to go on our excursion. Here are some photos of Rodney and Lynn waiting as well as the ferry we took:

We finally get to the pirate ship, and its pretty exciting!

When we got on the pirate ship, there was about a 10 minute "dramatic act". It was pretty funny. From making the kids scrub the deck to tying a poor guy up until he answered questions right! It was a lot of fun then we got to explore. You will notice one funny photo, this actual pirate ship from the 1800's has been modernized.... you will see on one photo the "speed boat" part of it, and the best part...the captain was talking on his cell phone the whole time! Hahahahahaha. This was a fun excursion, we would reccommend though if you do want to do this, they have a longer ride where they actually take the sails down at night. But you have to stay in Grand Cayman for that. So oh well! :) But if you do this, you get to go swimming in the ocean as well!!! Hope you enjoy the photos:
